Isabel Marant 'Bobby' Sneakers
I am so happy to finally be focusing on my blog again! To say it has been a long time since my last post is a severe understatement... There have been some huge changes in my life recently, the biggest being moving from my hometown of Christchurch all the way over to the big leagues - London! Having visited 8 countries along the way, I feel very blessed to have seen a bit of the world and am now settling down for the start of a new adventure.
Whilst on my travels, shopping was of course done (and probably a lot more than it should have!), and at the top of my wish list was the Isabel Marant sneakers I have lusted over for well over a year now. It took me a year to pluck up the courage to purchase my Dicker boots as shelling out that much for a pair of shoes took some getting used to. However, I don't regret them in the slightest, hence pushing me towards taking the plunge for another pair of IMs (how she makes such perfect shoes is beyond me). Although the sneaker wedge seemed like a passing trend to begin with, they are still around today and still selling like hotcakes so I figured I was safe in forking out a large part of my savings for them. I walked into an Isabel Marant store in Paris and came out only 10 minutes later with a large box in a beautiful canvas bag and a much smaller bank balance. They have been on my feet pretty much non-stop, they are unbelievably comfy and I just love the look of them. I have been styling them with dark skinny jeans and cosy jumpers but come summertime (which is a long way off in England), I will be trying them out with shorts and flippy skirts. Please leave a comment below with ways that you style them, I would love to know!

hi heels!
Have just added these amazing rose gold heels to my growing high heel collection today. Love the combination of metallics and perspex - two of my favs! Boohoo also has 25% off all footwear until 12pm tonight, which made this purchase even better!

camo & ysl
Sorry I have been so absent on the blog front lately, life just somehow gets in the way, and I am completely new to blogging so its taking me a while to get into it! Just thought I'd post some pics of my purchases from a mini hour long shopping trip today. Whilst searching through the sale racks at Country Road I found this incredibly soft and snuggly camo print knit, being the last one in my size I had to have it. I'm not normally into prints so much but for some reason it called out to me and I am so glad I found it to inject some interest into my upcoming winter outfits. I'd also been searching for the perfect punchy red lipgloss for a while as a change from my Clinique chubby sticks. Heading straight for the YSL counter I picked out this gorgeous guy. The colour is amazing and feels great on the lips, it hold so well even through eating and drinking. It was reasonably priced as well so any ladies looking for a new lippie, head over to YSL... I'm popping back there next week for a much needed make-up overhaul. Thinking of grabbing this cutie to pop all my nice new bits in too.

one down, three to go
Witchery 'Blair' Loafers
It's only two weeks into the new year but I have already managed to knock one item off my 2013 wishlist - these gorgeous zebra print haircalf loafers from Witchery! As soon as I saw these in my local Witchery store I knew I had to have them, although I was momentarily torn between them and these Mi Piaci metallic toe cap loafers (which I may still purchase...). But I went with my gut feeling which was my original choice, even though they were slightly tight when I tried them on. I bought them despite this, and managed to stretch them out so much just by wearing a pair of thick socks for an hour. Now they are perfect and I cannot wait to wear them! As a girl who lives in flats, I'm sure I can think up enough justification to purchase the Mi Piaci ones as well... Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

new year wishlist
This new year I have promised myself (once again) that I will save my money and buy things that I really love and will wear the hell out of, instead of going for cheaper variations that inevitably end up in a clothing bin in the middle of nowhere. Buying those dream items always leaves me with a sense of satisfaction that I have worked hard to own that designer bag, or those phenomenal boots (ahem IM Dickers reaching me in May). So without further ado, I present four items my heart lusts for, and with a little perseverance on my part, should by joining my closet very shortly. What are your new year must haves? To find out other items I'm coveting, check out my Svpply here.
1. Fielsol 'Tilly' necklace, $285
2. Witchery 'Blair' loafers, $150
3. 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli Satchel, $895
4. Michael Kors watch, $250
