From left to right: Claire Vivier Clutch; Gorjana necklace; Marni embellished knit; Isabel Marant 'Bobby' Sneakers; Miu Miu 'Noir' Sunglasses
So here it is, my Christmas wishlist in all its (currently) unattainable glory. I cannot believe how fast Christmas has rolled around this year, and like every other year I usually am at a loss as to what I would like, however this year the ideas were flowing in thick and fast. As mentioned in a previous post, my Mum and my boyfriend have pitched in and bought me the Alexander Wang Prisma Biker wallet, and I have convinced my Dad that I desperately need a pair of GHD's so, those and a couple of little stocking fillers are my pressies this year. However, these items would be my picks if I could afford them (someday...sigh). This Claire Vivier clutch is a must have item in any woman's wardrobe. It's simplicity and chicness make it totally versatile, and the foldover feature adds a nice touch. The Gorjana necklace is simple and elegant, perfect for every day wear. I am absolutely in love with this Marni sweater, the embellished collar adds some extra zing to an otherwise plain knit. Nothing needs to be said about the Isabel Marant Bobby sneakers, even after purchasing some that look similar, my needs still haven't been fulfilled and I am still head over heels for these babies. To finish off the wishlist are these Miu Miu sunnies, seen on every fashion blogger this season. I love the tort colour, but they are also available in sparkly shades, which makes them fun and perfect for summer. What's on your Christmas wishlist?

wedge me up
So my Isabel Marant doppelganger sneaker wedges by Siren have just arrived, and I am thrilled to report that they are awesome! The colour is great, and they are super comfortable. As with all new shoes I'll only wear them around the house for a couple of days just to be 200% sure that I will keep them, but I'm pretty certain they're what my wardrobe has been missing. In a great shade of taupe (which changes depending on the light, see pictures), I can imagine wearing them with denim cut offs and basic tees, and skinny jeans with a lightweight silky shirt and some statement jewellery. I am still slightly skeptical of the sneaker wedge trend, but I think these sneakers will be really versatile and just perfect for those days when I don't feel like wearing Converse's or heels! You can get yourself a pair on sale at theiconic.com.au, styletread.co.nz, or siren.com.au on sale now, and they also come in mint and black!

sneaker wedge
The subject of the Sneaker Wedge is a somewhat controversial one: some people hate them, some love them, some sit on the fence like myself. I have always appreciated this trend but never thought I had the attitude to pull it off. After falling in love with the Isabel Marant Betty Sneakers I knew I had to find myself a pair at a wallet friendly price! The Iconic had just the right pair, with free shipping and returns to New Zealand, perfect for me. Siren's Hedwig sneakers are very Marant-esque with a darker sole and in a taupe suede. I'm sure they will get me through most seasons and will be very versatile on those days when I don't feel like wearing ballet flats or boots. These babies also come in black and mint and are available at the Iconic, StyleTread and Siren's official website. Will post an update when they arrive!

coveting
Bag: Proenza Schouler PS1 in Raspberry Suede; Top: Arnsdorf; Ring: Dannijo 'Jacinda'; Shoes: Charles Philip Shanghai 'Tasseled Suede Loafers'
I would give my right arm for even one of these items! I fell in love with this Arnsdorf shirt whilst exploring mychameleon.com, and lucky for me it's on sale. I adore it's simplicity with the gold detailing, and how it has a slightly denim look to it. This Dannijo ring is perfect for adding to everyday outfits, and I'm sure if I ever get my hands on it that it will become a jewelry staple. Don't even get me started on the famous PS1... I've been admiring this beauty from afar, and in this tasty shade of Raspberry, its become even more desirable. Unfortunately, it would probably take me about 5 years to save up for it, but a girl can dream. My favorite piece out of this collection is the adorable Tasseled Suede Loafers by Charles Philip. I live most of my life in flats, and these have just the right amount of colour, style and playfulness that my summer outfits need. Hopefully they will be joining my ever-growing collection of flats sometime soon.
new kid on the block
